City Fence is currently recruiting for our apprentice fence installer positions. The ideal candidates will have some experience in construction and power tools. The goal will be to work towards being a foreman in the future.

We are located in Lancaster and work mostly in Erie County installing both residential and commercial fence. You will meet at our shop on Walden Ave. in the morning and drive to and from job sites in our truck.

Our apprentice installers must be able to perform general labor duties outdoors, under varying weather conditions. Some of the duties include: mixing and hauling wet cement; hauling tools and materials to and from the work area; manually digging some post holes; cleaning out post holes that were dug with the dingo; keeping the work truck neat and clean, and assisting the foreman with various tasks. Must be able to perform basic math functions and able to work with a team, as well as work alone.

• Must be able to read fine print on contracts, material lists and property surveys.
• Must be able to hear within a range of 50 feet.
• Must be able to work standing up for 8–10 hours in a given day.
• Must be able to lift 80lbs without accommodation.
• Must have mobility for frequent pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping.
• Must be able to frequently squat down and reach above shoulder height.
• Must have a valid driving license.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

We are located in Lancaster and work mostly in Erie County installing both residential and commercial fence. You will meet at our shop on Walden Ave. in the morning and drive to and from job sites in our truck.

Our foreman installers must be able to perform quality installations of residential and commercial fence. Materials used include, stick built wood fence, vinyl, chain link and ornamental. Must be able to perform basic math functions and able to work with a team, as well as work alone.

• Must be able to read fine print on contracts, material lists and property surveys.
• Must be able to hear within a range of 50 feet.
• Must be able to work standing up for 8–10 hours in a given day.
• Must be able to lift 80lbs without accommodation.
